Speeding

A number of residents have already expressed their concerns about vehicles speeding through Damerham. Some feel that there is an accident waiting to happen; others are worried about the safety of children going to and from school; and some have reported almost being run over themselves coming out of their own gate.

Parish Councillors have discussed a number of possible measures which might be taken to mitigate the dangers and would very much welcome the views of all residents in the village. At the Drop In session on Monday 6th March in the Village Hall councillors will be present to listen to your views and particularly to collect your opinions of ways in which this menace can be dealt with.

MONDAY 6TH MARCH

DROP IN AT THE VILLAGE HALL BETWEEN 7.00 – 9.00pm AND LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT SPEEDING THROUGH OUR VILLAGE.
