About Us
FunQuest was set up in response to the Damerham Plan to provide loads of interactive, exciting and seasonal activities for accompanied children and young people in Damerham. Our aim is to set up new clubs, arrange fun events and bring new play equipment and resources to the village.

Volunteers and Helpers
FunQuest is run by volunteers and we are always looking for new volunteers to join our committee and for helpers to assist at our exciting events, if you can help please email funquest@damerham.net for details of our next meeting.

FunQuest would like to build networks and partnerships with other groups and societies in Damerham. We are looking for local societies and talented individuals who would be willing to co-host an event aimed at the young. We are keen to recruit activity leaders in sports, arts and crafts, and culture for one off events. Please email funquest@damerham.net for more details.

Donations
Activities are solely funded by donation and local sponsorship - if you would like to make a donation (of any amount) the children of Damerham will be extremely grateful.

Mailing List
Please email funquest@damerham.net to join our mailing list, your information will not be shared with any other companies or organisations, it will be held by the FunQuest committee who will only contact you regarding FunQuest events or activities.

Past Events

April 2008 - Treasure Hunt Hit

On Friday 11th April over 40 children of all ages met up on Damerham Sports Field to take part in the FunQuest Treasure Hunt, where there were three exciting hunts to choose from. The Damerham Trail challenged older children to use their maps and follow the clues dotted around the footpaths of Damerham. Younger children stayed on the Sports Field and followed flags to find letters and numbers. There was also a Scavenger Hunt where teams had to bring back items on a list as quickly as possible. Everyone avoided the April showers by enjoying some tea, squash and homemade cake in the Pavilion. FunQuest would like to say a MASSIVE thank-you to Robin Robbins Fair Committee who provided many of the prizes and tasty treats for the children.

Over 55 children of all ages tossed aside any winter blues and got stuck into some very silly games, and wacky pancake races. Nobody went hungry as there were an amazingly large number of delicious pancakes, copious amounts of homemade chocolate sauce, and lots of other scrummy fillings. Everyone seemed to enjoy the pancakey goodness and in all it was a brilliant evening.
