There is a host of photographs, documents and artefacts of the village, and also the memories of our older residents. Some people have expressed interest in gathering together these items and memories into a Damerham Village Archive. This would be a major, but enjoyable, undertaking involving collecting, cataloguing, taking photographs, scanning documents and talking to people. Consideration would also need to be given as to how and where the resulting documents, picture, recordings etc. would be kept.
If you would like to help form or be part of a team involved in gathering and preserving these items then please contact any member of the Parish Council to help get this project started or use the Contact page to email us.
